Nestled in Tahiti are the Faarumai Waterfalls, home to some of Tahiti’s most beautiful hiking trails. From the spectacular waterfalls to its natural pools, it offers panoramic views of this tropical paradise. The hikes to the three Faarumai waterfalls is one of our favourite. Just a quick clamber through a forest of chestnut trees and you’ll reach the first waterfall, Vaimahutu. Carry on and you’ll find the falls of Haamarere Iti, and Haamarere Rahi to enjoy on these romantic walks.


Tahiti Beaches

As well as hiking the trails and scrambling up mountain paths, the beaches can offer a beautiful tranquil paradise for couples. The island of Moorea is known for its sandy beaches, and Opunohu Bay offers a relaxing shore surrounded by volcanic mountains and natural beauty. Skip over to Bora Bora and you’ll find crystal clear waters and endless white sandy beaches to explore and enjoy.

As the largest island in French Polynesia, Tahiti offers a wide expanse of sandy beaches and secret coves. If you’re looking for somewhere to swim with the tropical marine life, Plage de Toaroto offers the perfect place to snorkel, whereas Lafayette Beach can give visitors a view of the famous black sand beaches.
