Day 1: Perth to Margaret River (NM)
Depart Perth and head south via Mandurah to Bunbury. Located on a spectacular peninsula, this vibrant town has a strong maritime atmosphere and is now renowned for the wild dolphins in Koombana Bay. Continue south to Busselton, home to the longest wooden jetty in the Southern Hemisphere, and on to Margaret River.

Day 2: Margaret River Region (B)
With a full day to explore this diverse region, take a drive along the picturesque Caves Road to Cape Leeuwin Lighthouse, enjoy lunch and wine tasting at some of the premium wineries, discover caves of ancient fossils, visit spectacular beaches, or take a wander through the shops and galleries in the Margaret River township.

Day 3: Margaret River to Pemberton (B)
Travel to Pemberton, in the heart of the tall timber country, where the towering karri and jarrah forests are thought to be at their most impressive. Visit the famous Gloucester Tree, take a ride on the Pemberton Tramway, or follow one of the many walking trails in the Beedelup National Park.

Day 4: Pemberton to Albany (NM)
Leaving Pemberton, travel to Walpole and then continue deeper into the forest. Make time to visit the Valley of the Giants Tree Top Walk, an exciting yet peaceful way to experience the magical southern forests up to 38 metres above the canopy. Continue on through the picturesque town of Denmark to Albany.

Day 5: Albany (B)
With a full day to discover the breathtaking natural beauty of this region, take a walk on Middleton Beach, visit the Desert Mounted Corps Memorial at Mt Clarence, enjoy magnificent views from Mt Melville, or drive along Frenchman Bay Road to Torndirrup National Park for some of the most spectacular coastal scenery in Australia.

Day 6: Albany to Perth (B)
Enjoy a leisurely morning before starting the journey back to Perth along the Albany Highway. Points of interest include the Porongurup wineries and The Kodja Place, which features fascinating displays of the area's Aboriginal and pioneering heritage.
