Today Virgin Australia is under a new owner & management, and it is once again offering something completely different in Australian air travel. New generation Boeing 737-800 are the dominant aircraft, with the fleet now completely made up of 74 Boeing 737 type aircraft. innovative Business Class seating is being introduced across the fleet. Virgin Australia operate a comprehensive network of flights between all major and many minor destinations throughout the country.

The following is the current baggage allowance on all flights

Checked:
Economy Class:   1 x 23 kgs
Business Class:  2 x 23 kgs
No one bag to exceed 32 kgs 
Carry on:
Economy:  7 kg (1 or 2 pieces)
Business:  27 kg (plus 1 personal item)

Domestic Network

Virgin Australia operate a comprehensive network of flights between all major and many minor destinations throughout the country. 

International Network

Regular flights connect Australia and New Zealand with flights into both Auckland and Christchurch.  The Pacific Islands can also be reached with flights to Tonga, Samoa and the Cook Islands.
